The Vineyards

Corte Cavedini owns almost nine hectares vineyard, closely located to the winery, focusing on the native grapes best suited for the terroir: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Oseleta and Croatina. Vines are farmed according to the Guyot training system in a hilly position, at an altitude of 110/180 meters on a calcareous soil and having a sun exposure East-West and South-East. 
All these great attributes combined to the Valpolicella terroir and ideal microclimate weather conditions permit Corte Cavedini to farm the seven hectar vineyard completely by hand with integrated systems and minimal non organic practises used.

The vines thrive in this environment giving low yield, healthy grapes and wines that are balanced, elegant with a typical cherry fruit flavours.
